Baby event at city store

ALL things baby – from nursery furnishings to prams and car seats – are the focus of a 10-day shopping event at Fenwick in Newcastle.

The Pilgrim Street store is inviting customers to take advantage of 15% discounts across leading pram and nursery brands.

The event started on Thursday and those who go along can also make appointments to chat with experts before they buy.

The special event, running until next Sunday, will also include product demonstrations and anyone not able to fit in a visit to the store has the alternative option of booking virtually instead.

The special event, which organisers say will be packed with inspiration and advice, is expected to appeal to not just new parents but also those whose family is growing as, besides baby products, there will be plenty focus upon toddlers too.

Experts will be on hand to answer questions and even calm parents’ nerves, says the store, with the help of demonstrations and explanations about the essentials.

Among the leading brands represented will be Mamas & Papas, Nuna, Silver Cross, Babyzen Yoyo, Cybex and Joolz which will be offering 15% off products both in the store and online during the 10-day run.

Demonstrations at Fenwick will include Silver Cross, Bebecar and Cybex today.

Kinistry Print Takers, which can make 3D casts and prints of young ones’ hands and feet, will be taking appointments on Friday for anyone looking for a unique family keepsake.

Fenwick’s own nursery experts will be offering impartial advice via virtual pram and nursery appointments which will help to compare and demonstrate products to help shoppers make the right choice for them.

Customers can also have some purchases delivered to their home.
