Guilty of Kyle threat
A man has been found guilty of threatening a Labour MP by holding up a makeshift gallows with a noose outside Parliament and telling him “This is what we do to traitors”.
Lance O’connor, 57, called out the name of Hove MP Peter Kyle in Parliament Square on October 20 last year, Westminster Magistrates’ Court heard.
O’connor was handed a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered him to pay £660, including £200 to Mr Kyle.
