POEM OF THE DAY

- PULLING TOGETHER

Cancer so wretched, we all hate you so.

With a passion you’re loathed more than you’ll ever know. You cruelly spread your insidious curse.

You’re the blight on our lives, you’re the worst of the worst! You’re nasty, you’re rancid, a happiness taker,

There’s no way on earth you were sent by our maker. You stealer of loved ones, of friends and of kin.

With our will there’s a way, it’s a fight you won’t win!

We are pulling together, and shan’t rest until

That day when, and not whether, we’ve ended your will.

Heed my words callous cancer, you blight on our lives.

For your eradication, we fervently strive!

You heartless and heinous disease so deplored.

I’m awaiting the day, when your likes are no more!!!
