Harry meets his hero

IN EARLY FEBRUARY, one of our talented year 5 students, Harry Goodhead, took a trip to London for a very special but unexpected visit. Prior to the trip, Harry took part in a national ‘Super Realo Competition’, which Harry entered with his firefighting drone.

He was then invited to to experience the National science museum, for his contributions in the competition- his every move followed by BBC’S The One Show.

However, unknowingly to him, he had won 1st place and was not only appearing on TV and having a comic made in honour of him, but he would meet none other than astronaut Tim Peake!

When interviewed by our school reporters, Harry exclaimed, “It was super cool to meet Tim Peake and I was speechless when he said I was the winner.” Our welldeserved winner received an overwhelming response from his peers- cheers could be heard across the school.
