Sarr could be winging his way into Toon

-

WATFORD winger Ismaila Sarr could be a Newcastle player next season.

Representatives for the Senegalese international are believed to have met with Toon chiefs over a potential £40million move.

Sarr has bagged 24 goals in 91 appearances for the Hornets since arriving from Rennes in 2019.

A winger to play on the opposite flank to Allan Saint-maximin would be a logical target for Newcastle this summer and the 24-year-old fits the bill.

Watford are all but relegated from the top flight and keeping their star asset appears unlikely offering the Magpies an opportunity to pounce.

Meanwhile, sources in Germany claim Toon target Jeremiah St Juste is wanted by Sporting Lisbon but prefers a move to the Premier League.

The pacey Mainz centre-back, 25, was linked with Newcastle in January but missed out on a move as the club preferred top-flight experience.

A £10million price tag has been slapped on him by his club.
