All the working class is having it tough

I’M sure it was just an unintended slip by John Maughan in his letter, May 10 re the Nostalgia article ‘Days of the wars of neighbourhoods’ when he wrote that “It’s got to be remembered that ‘white’ working - class people of this country have had it hard”, Surely he just meant to meant to say ‘working class people.’

After all it isn’t just ‘white’ working class people who have had it hard but all working class people.
