Start saving now for the silly season

When spending goes beyond common sense and good reason Your spending as usual will go through the roof

Empty wallets and purses will be the proof

Have a budget and do not overspend

Christmas debt never seems to end

Smartphones will be top of your very long list

Your children I know will insist Most xmas presents will soon be forgot

But the fortunes they cost will certainly not

So, think long and hard before you overspend

Remember your bank manager is not always your friend
