New home on Thames for submarine base?

IF the SNP ever get their way and Scotland becomes independent they have said they will get the nuclear submarine base out of their land.

If that transpires, would a good site for the base not be in the Thames estuary?

If there was room for a third runway there should be room for the base.

It could also be connected to the banks of the river by a bridge – a garden bridge would be nice – and maybe a zip-wire could be set up too.
