Late call due on United’s latest injuries
EDDIE Howe will make a late call on injured duo Chris Wood and Fabian Schar ahead of the trip to Burnley.
Wood, who returns to Turf Moor for the first time since his £25m move in January, is recovering from a hip injury and will train today.
Switzerland international Schar was taken off in the mid-week clash against Arsenal after a sickening head injury and is a doubt.
Howe said: “We will make a decision on Chris.
“As we said, it’s not a serious injury but we will see.
“With Fabian we are following concussion protocols.”
Howe welcomed back Scotland international Ryan Fraser after a hamstring injury in the 2-0 win over Arsenal at St James’ Park.
But he is a doubt for the clash at Burnley and Howe suggested he would not take any risks, adding: “Ryan has a hamstring injury so we will see.”
