The dog mess is real – and foul

The Chronicle - - Feedback -

I WAS shocked to read the piece from the man who wrote that he had walked the length of the seafront from Tynemouth to the lighthouse and saw only one pile of dog muck.

Well I may say he was very lucky, but he was obviously looking in the wrong place.

No way are any of these dog owners going to let their dogs foul the streets where there are crowds of people walking by, unless it’s the ones that bring them out at night, like they do.

He should have walked the whole length of Links Road, in Cullercoats, it is disgusting. I have never seen a street as bad as this in my life.

Lazy owners with dogs just let them foul anywhere. There is dog muck along the footpath all the way along to Cullercoats Primary School, how disgusting is that?

And some of these lazy dog owners pick the muck up and then leave the bag of muck behind.

If you dog owners think you are above having to pick up after your own dog, well then don’t have a dog.

This council needs to come down hard on these people. We have complained to the council and MPs but nothing is ever done. I RICHIE, North Shields
