- The Big Short (tonight, BBC2, 9pm).

MUSIC legend Cher is hitting the road for her first UK tour in more than a decade.

The multi-million-selling singer and actress will play five dates here as part of her Here We Go Again World Tour which will also cover new Zealand, Australia and North America.

Grammy and Oscar winner Cher, who recently stole the show in the Mamma Mia sequel, said: “I’m very excited to bring this show to the UK. “It was the first country to embrace Sonny & Cher, and it’s where we created and had our first success with Believe. It’s really my second home.”

The UK shows kick off in London on October 20 and Cher visits Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow before finishing up in Leeds.

Tickets for the shows are on sale now from Ticketmaster. com and AXS.com

Jared Vennett (Ryan Gosling), a bond salesman at Deutsche Bank, gets wind of the move and follows suit, drawing in cynic Mark Baum (Steve Carell) and his team. Elsewhere inexperienced investors Charlie Geller (John Magaro) and Jamie Shipley (Finn Wittrock) orchestrate their own high-risk bets as financial authorities ignore warning signs. A blisteringly funny and provocative portrait of irresponsibility, fraud and gaudy excess. Carell and Bale shine brightest in the ensemble cast.
