Ways to tackle climate change

Sir, As it becomes clear that climate change is under way, I feel sad that the church appears to be doing so little to help reduce carbon emissions. My first choice would be to close all church buildings and meet in homes, but if we want to continue running large buildings facing East, then it would be a good witness if their south-facing roofs could all be covered with solar panels. It’s within our reach. Woking Borough Council did it years ago.
