Taking a lead

The Church of England - - Letters -

Sir, I feel reasonably confident when I take a lead from ‘one of the most distinguished theologians of the modern age’, who sees evidence of a changing attitude in Hosea 1:4,5, which arguably allows for a re-reading of the Bible whenever this is warranted by developments in knowledge and understanding. I refer Alan Minchin and others to Rowan Williams’ book ‘Being Christian’ pp 37,38. Serena Lancaster, Moreton-in-Marsh, Glos.
