Lichfield Cathedral will host a Big Lunch on Cathedral lawns on Sunday 1 June from noon to 14:30. “We want everyone to pack up a picnic, invite their families and their friends, and enjoy an afternoon of food and entertainment within the Cathedral Close,” said Adrian Dorber, the Dean of Lichfield. Lichfield Cathedral Young Voices, the Palace Singers, the Oloip Massai Tribe Dancers and the Lichfield Lighthouse Company will be performing. Tea, coffee, wine, soft drinks, pre-packed lunchboxes and ice cream will be available. The lunch starts at noon. The church advises people to arrive promptly to get a good spot. If the weather is unkind, the lunch will be moved inside.
