Most adults believe Jesus ‘was real’
SIX OUT of 10 adults believe that Jesus Christ was a real person, new research has found.
The Church of England, the Evangelical Alliance and HOPE commissioned the research to find out what people really know about Jesus. A spokesman said the results were a major catalyst for ‘effective and focused evangelism.’
Further research found that when Christians talk about Jesus to non-Christians, a quarter of respondents said they felt more positive about Jesus after such a conversation.
Fifteen percent of Christians have invited a non-Christian to a church service after a conversation about Jesus. See feature, page 8
