Getting the creeps
Having just enjoyed reading the October 2021 issue of The Classic MotorCycle, there’s mention in “You were asking” of tyre creep. When the tyres on my trials bikes crept, in the 1970s, repositioning them was quite easy and accomplished thus:
I removed the valve to let all the air out, wheeled the bike backwards until the valve stem was correct then replaced the valve and reinflated the tyre. If my 50-year-old memory is correct, I had to push down above the affected tyre.
