The wrong Sunbeam

Anyone who read the news article in the

August 2022 issue, about visitors to Beaulieu on the evening of August 24 being able to see and hear the engine of the 1000 horsepower Sunbeam, the large slug-like red car depicted, would have been disappointed.

Beaulieu mechanics are working on one of that car’s two engines, which haven’t even turned over since the early 1930s, at present, but it won’t be running yet awhile, think several years here.

The 350hp Sunbeam, which is the car the article referred to, is just visible behind in the picture of the red one.
