IF IT’S goals that attract spectators then Moorside Park in Dundonald should be bursting at the seams every week.

Last week the Bluebell beat Steelend 9-1 and this time round it was a bit closer as Lochgelly lost by the odd goal in nine.

Stevie Brown had Lochgelly two up before Lee Duffy pulled one back from the penalty spot. Calum Young equalised and then Tommy Carr edged Archie Wyse’s side in front. Not for long though as Andy Watt levelled in the 33rd minute.

Two more goals from Lee Bryce and Calum Young meant an incredible halftime score of 5-3 to Dundonald.

The second half only produced one goal from Andy Watt just short of the hour.

The three points moved Bluebell up to second, but Kinnoull remain the team everyone has to catch in the Central League, their 3-0 home win over previously unbeaten Newburgh clocking a sixth straight win to open up a three point lead.

Chris Dodd gave them the lead after 10 minutes but they only went in at the break leading by that goal courtesy of Sean Fleming clearing a Steve Lislie lob off the line.

However, the hosts upped the ante and Chucky Carr struck with 15 minutes left and a terrific individual Dodd effort was the icing on the cake for Gavie Price’s side.

SconeThistle banked their first win after a year in abeyance, beating Bankfoot 2-1.

They had to come from behind after Ryan Brechin’s goal after 19 minutes gave the visitors the interval advantage.

Ten minutes after the restart Gary McAllum was impeded in the box and Jordan Brown converted the penalty.

It was player/boss Derek Keir who gave his side the three points with a cross cum shot eleven minutes later.

Luncarty scored their first league goal of the season but it was small consolation as they lost 4-1 at Thornton.

Adam Drummond put Hibs ahead in the sixth minute from the penalty spot after John Halley had been impeded in the box.

Halley made it two four minutes from the break after he skipped round Benjamin Tough then slipped the ball into the unguarded net.

Drummond scored the third with the goal of the game after 55 minutes with a clever lob before Coco Mullen netted from close range on 75 minutes.

Robert Goodwillie rattled in the fourth with nine minutes remaining.

Crossgates v Steelend and Rosyth v KirkcaldyYM fell foul of the weather.
