Britons are feeling increasingly less like Europeans, putting them at odds with their neighbours in Germany and Scandinavia, according to a “Eurobarometer” survey.

A study of people living in 15 EU states found that only 38% of those in the UK see themselves as European, while across the 15 countries it is 61%.
