SIGHTLINE is certainly bred in the purple and she can continue her progression through the ranks in the EBF Stallions Breeding Winners Margadale Fillies’ Handicap at Salisbury.

Ralph Beckett’s youngster is a daughter of Rock Of Gibraltar out of his Oaks winner Look Here, so she should be able to take advantage of her opening handicap mark of 77.

Fourth in a Doncaster maiden on her debut last year, that looked a strong race on paper

The winner, Zest, was talked of very highly over the winter but has admittedly disappointed since then.

Nevertheless, Sightline stepped up on her season debut when sent to Beverley in April and the fourth has come out and won nicely at Haydock.

Beckett has kept her at the same 10-furlong trip but the win should have sharpened her up mentally more than anything.

Roger Charlton’s HORRAH ran a nice enough race on his first outing to be of interest in the second division of the Bathwick Tyres Maiden.

Already gelded and sent off at 33-1, the omens were not good at Doncaster in April.

However, he defied those worries finishing fourth to the useful Forge, who has subsequently finished third in a Listed race behind Zonderland.

Charlton’s runners are very rarely fully tuned-up first time out so we can expect a good deal of improvement.
