FORBES OF KINGENNIE.

The Boathouse Pool fished well most of the week with decent numbers being caught but the bigger fish were somewhat more elusive.

S Hawkins took two rainbows for 6lbs and returned a further six on Shipmans and black buzzers, whilst J Edwards returned nine on a small yellow dancer.

Some excellent sport has been had on dry flies on the Burnside Pool. John Crowther returned 11 on dries and buzzers with Kane Crowther, 10, putting in an excellent performance to return 14, most of which were taken on a Squirmy.

Several of the season ticket holders have just edged into double figures but, as with the Boathouse Pool, the larger fish have been absent.

On the Bankside Pool a variety of flies and methods has been successful.

George Birse returned 27 and Frank Sherriff 24 taken on buzzers, bloodworm imitations and or floating fry patterns.
