Black Cats to visit Tannadice

United may be staying at home for pre-season but they will still have an interesting summer programme of games to complement the Betfred Cup matches, which kickoff with a televised trip to Arbroath on Friday July 15.

A friendly at Tannadice against English Premier League side Sunderland is being pencilled in for Tuesday July 26.

They should also face Blackpool in a closeddoor game at St Andrews, with one further bounce match to be arranged.
