Scotland stun Australia at U20 World Rugby Championship
AUSTRALIA 10 SCOTLAND 15
Scotland fought back from a half-time deficit to secure a first victory over Australia at the U20 World Rugby Championship at Manchester yesterday.
The Scots trailed 7-3 at half-time but made the most of playing virtually the whole of the second half with a man advantage after Campbell Magnay’s red card for a dangerous tackle.
Prop Zander Fagerson, a product of Strathallan School and Dundee High School, burrowed over to give Scotland the lead and winger Darcy Graham’s try proved the match-winner, the winger, pictured celebrating, slicing through the Australian defence to race in from halfway.
Scotland’s next game is on Saturday evening against hosts England, who opened with a 48-10 win over Italy.
