EU rollercoaster causing UK jitters
The ‘real’ EU referendum is just a couple of weeks away now and the gloves are coming off.
How David Cameron intends stitching his divided Cabinet back together in the event of a Remain victory is anybody’s guess.
And who knows what will occur if the Leave vote has it.
But from a business perspective, the impact of all the uncertainty and in-fighting is already being felt.
Regardless of the outcome of the vote on June 23, the economy in the UK has suffered in recent months. The oil price has a lot to do with that. But the rollercoaster ride that will determine whether the UK continues as a member of the EU bloc of trading nations is also causing severe jitters.
