Hague’s warning over Brexit

Brexit could lead to the “disintegration” of the United Kingdom and have serious consequences for overseas territories such as the Falkland Islands and Gibraltar, William Hague has warned.

Former Foreign Secretary Lord Hague issued caution to would-be Leave voters who thought Brexit could be the patriotic choice on June 23.

In a speech at Chatham House he said the issues at stake were “serious enough for wars to have been fought over them” in living memory.
