Open event to celebrate thriving craft group’s birthday

Angus Crafts Association is preparing to welcome the public to a milestone event later this month.

It is two years since the group opened its cooperative shop in The Square, Letham, and a birthday open evening has been planned for Wednesday June 29.

The date also coincides with the annual general meeting of Angus palliative care charity Lippen Care, which the association continues to support.

Originally based in the House of Dun, near Montrose, the group moved to Letham in 2014.

Members of the local crafting community take turns to man the shop, which shows a range of talent and hosts monthly guest crafters.
