Jervie, who was originally from Perth,” emails George Nicol. “I assume this is just prior to the auction sale of all pharmaceutical memorabilia as the business could not be sold as a going concern.
“If memory serves, I started as an apprentice in 1995 and served my two year apprenticeship in this business prior to attending Dundee Technical College and qualifying as a pharmacist.
“Our class was the last to qualify from the Tech as the School of Pharmacy closed – all would-be pharmacists now were required to attend university.”
