Bellway breaking records
Housebuilder Bellway is on target to achieve a record year with completions and average home prices set to rise by at least 10%.
A strong sales performance saw an 8% increase in the reservation rate to 196 per week.
The company, which has developments in Perth, Cowdenbeath and Dunfermline, plans to open a 19th operating division.
Chief executive Ted Ayres said: “The strategy for growth, together with a focus on return on capital employed, should lead to another record performance.”
