The Little White Town of Never Weary

Auchmuty High School, Glenrothes, June 11

- david Pollock

The Little White Town of Never Weary is a magical place built from cardboard and glue by a young girl called Jessie. It’s somewhere to play, make friends and let your imagination run wild.

Yet, it was built a hundred years ago and noone has played with it for a very long time. So now it’s up to Jessie’s greatgreat-granddaughter to put things right with help from the characters who live there. Created by Scottish Opera and currently touring Scotland as part of the Festival of Architecture 2016, The Little White Town of Never Weary is an interactive musical adventure for children aged between five and eight and is based on the book by the late illustrator and Glasgow Girls artist Jessie M King.
