Top two clash with title hopes on line
Game of the day is undoubtedly at Memorial Park where the top two, Thornton Hibs and Kirrie Thistle, clash.
Barring a spectacular fall from grace, both are expected to be promoted but the title is still very much up for grabs.
Leaders Kirrie are favourites as second-placed Thornton trail them by two points with a game more played. So the onus is really on Hibs to close the gap.
Meanwhile, East Craigie’s midweek win at North End hoisted them up to third.
They have a difficult match against Kinnoull, who drew away to Thornton last week.
Liam McArtney is out for the Shipbuilders, while Kieran Donald is an absentee for the visitors.
After suffering his first defeat as North End manager in midweek, Ross Lunan will want a return to winning ways at home to Coupar Angus.
Ross Sievewright, Robbie George and Euan McIlvenny are all out through injury. Dylan Cook is a major doubt for the visitors.
Luncarty, away to Forfar Albion, have an injury doubt with skipper Stuart Nicol facing a late fitness test.
The hosts are without suspended Ross McCleary.
Injury-hit Blairgowrie are still without four key players for the visit of a Newburgh side without a win since before Christmas.
Beaten 6-0 by leaders Kirrie Thistle in midweek, Arbroath Vics host Brechin Vics and welcome back Sam Clark and Scott Donald, while Kyle Findlater is on holiday.
Other than Adam Renilson, who is working, Brechin have a full squad available.
Harp are at home to Lochore looking to end a three-match losing run, albeit against three of the league’s leading lights and while hard-hit by injuries and suspensions.
That is again the case this weekend with Graeme Dailly, Mark Kelly and Gordon Ramsay all injured, while Connaire Connelly is unavailable.
On the plus side, keeper Darren Brown, Paul Moran and Sam Hodgson all return. the
