Bluebells bid to keep run going at Camelon

-

Lochee United will be looking to continue their good start to the season as they travel to take on Camelon at Carmuirs Park.

Last week saw George Shields’ side win 3-1 at home to Dundonald Bluebell and the manager is confident that his side can take three more points.

Shields does have a few injury problems, though. Kevin Buchan, Reece Ritchie, Craig Smith and Mark Stewart all miss the game through injury.

Carnoustie Panmure have also enjoyed a good start and sit fifth in the League.

This weekend the Gowfers play host to leaders Penicuik Athletic but manager Alan Mcskimming has a few decisions to make ahead of the game.

Adam Harwood serves the first game of a two-game ban for his red card at Kennoway while Ryan Roche and Liam Scott are missing long-term through injury. Skipper Steven Cook is on holiday so Jake Mair is expected to revert to the full-back role.

Craig Wedderburn is the only absentee for Dundonald Bluebell as they host Kennoway Star Hearts in a Fife derby at Moorside Park.

Manager Stevie Kay will be looking for a reaction following the defeat at Thomson Park last time out.

Kennoway are forced in to one change with Josh Binnington unavailable. Dell Newlands comes in to the squad with the side still looking for their first win of the season.

Once more Kevin Fotheringham is forced to mix and match to try and get a side on the park as Hill Of Beath welcome Bo’ness United to Keirs Park.

Fotheringham is without Rikki Dair, Rory Harrower, Michael Lee, Lea Schiavone and Darrin Wright with three other players doubtful.

The Haws boss has already used 26 players so far and that number will rise this weekend.

Jeanfield Swifts will be looking to build on last weekend’s win at Forfar West End, however, as opponents go they don’t come much tougher than Bonnyrigg Rose.

The visitors needed a late penalty to avoid defeat at Penicuik last time out and David White’s men will see Jeanfield as prime candidates to get back to winning ways.

The Perth side are without Chris Anton who has damaged ankle ligaments.

Broughty Athletic have finally put an end to the speculation regarding the manager’s position at Whitton Park with the appointment of Jim Finlayson.

The former Kirriemuir Thistle manager resigned after last week’s game and was announced as the new man at The Fed on Thursday.

He faces a tough task for a first game with a visit to Prestonfield to take on Linlithgow Rose.

It’s a basement battle at Beechwood Park as last season’s Premier League champions Sauchie take on another of the promoted sides in Forfar West End.

Both sides have struggled in the top flight but West End’s Daryl Mackenzie will see the game as a chance to get the first win on the board and maybe lift his club off the bottom of the table.
