The dance contest reaches its most dazzling annual milestone, as the eight remaining pro-celebrity duos depart from London and head north to the Lancashire coast, where they put their skills to the test against the iconic backdrop of Blackpool Tower Ballroom. Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman host.

I Know Who You Are (BBC4, 9pm-12.15am)

Inspector Barros tries to interview the still traumatise­d Ana, but Ramon is keen to take her home, despite his desire to see Juan Elias brought to justice. Meanwhile, with informatio­n still in short supply, Giralt realises it will be up to the police to make a case against Elias - with or without Ana’s testimony. In Spanish. considerin­g some of BBC and ITV’S lacklustre recent efforts at weekend entertainm­ent shows. However, Mcintyre has not only proven that variety is alive and well, but also that he is a pretty fine host and entertaine­r. Tonight he returns to London’s Theatre Royal on Drury Lane for the third run of his Big Show.

A TV adaptation of the National Theatre production of the same name. Compiled in the days following the Brexit vote, the play interweave­s real interviews with speeches from party leaders, as Britannia – a personific­ation of the nation itself – calls a meeting to listen to the opinions of her people.

The Queen’s Wedding (More4, 9pm-10.05pm)

The marriage between Elizabeth II and Prince Philip has stood the test of time and helped keep the monarchy secure. This programme captures the story of the Queen, whose love life as a princess became a matter of political significan­ce, recalling how Prince Philip’s suitabilit­y was called into question.
