COLLISTON. President Nancy Myles welcomed members to a games night in Colliston Village Hall, where five teams battled for first place playing five different games. The victorious team were the Younger Young Ones. EASSIE and NEVAY. Members discussed a fundraiser “Souper Sunday” to be held on February 4. President J Thompson introduced Sarah Brown who spoke about her exchange visit to Cuba. PADANARAM. President Kate Mcfarlane welcomed members to the 98th birthday party and meal at The Mill, Forfar. In January Kate introduced Chloe Leuchars, who teaches hulahoop classes at Forfar Dance Studio. Competitio­ns: fitness poster – 1 L Jack, 2 W Burnett; cereal bar suitable for vegetarian – M Mands.

TARFSIDE. Members had their Christmas meal at Brechin Golf Club. They also held their children’s Christmas party when the youngsters met Santa Claus.
