Mr Alex Wilkie, MP, submitted his war aims with unflinching frankness to the members of Dundee Trades Council. Seeing no opportunity at present to secure a clean and equitable peace, Mr Wilkie declares that we must fight on until that is attainable, meeting force by the only thing with which it can be met, viz., force. Mr J.S. Brown presided. Mr Wilkie said he would have liked to have been in Dundee oftener, but it was thought to be of greater advantage that he was elsewhere.
