School pupils take part in special performance in Glasgow
Angus school pupils were in fine voice at a special performance in Glasgow to launch the new national Singing to Learn, Learning to Sing framework.
The performance took place in the Royal Concert Hall in partnership with Glasgow Unesco City of Music and was led by Christopher Bell, artist director of the National Youth Choir of Scotland (NYCOS).
The pupils from primaries 5 and 6 at Rosemount and Warddykes primary schools, sung four songs, one of which was composed specifically for the launch by Scottish singer and songwriter Alan Beck.
The event was part of the Year of Young People.
