Car park grass to be turned into seaside-themed garden area
Arbroath In Bloom held a recruitment drive to bring more people on board to spruce up the town in readiness for next year’s tourist season.
Work will start at Elliot car park next Sunday from 11am where the grass will be transformed into a seaside-themed garden area. Volunteers are being urged to help out.
Jean Stewart from Arbroath In Bloom said it was heartening to see volunteer groups now beginning to make a difference to the town and praised the community council for taking on responsibility for the Christmas lights.
“Volunteering is bringing people together to make a difference,” she said.
