Man who harassed his neighbours faces charges

-

A man has been charged with inflicting a campaign of harassment on his neighbours.

Grant Anderson, 62, is alleged to have engaged in a course of conduct that caused John and Laura Turner fear and alarm between April 7 2017 and May 11 2018.

He is alleged to have repeatedly left gates open and parked motor vehicles on their land.

He is also said to have deposited rubble and poured concrete on their land.

Prosecutors further allege Anderson drove on their land in an inconsiderate manner and repeatedly loitered, looking at the couple.

A second charge alleges that on April 30, he behaved in a threatening and abusive manner likely to cause fear and alarm by driving a Fiat Doblo van at excessive speed towards Laura Turner.

He is then accused of stopping close to her and driving too close to her.

Anderson, of Cupar Road, Newburgh, did not enter a plea to the charges.

Sheriff Alastair Brown continued the case until later this month.
