Popular Salvation Army band poised for seasonal return visit
Bellshill Salvation Army Band is to maintain its proud tradition of two decades with a seasonal visit to Angus.
Over the past 20 years the band has helped raise thousands of pounds for charity. Members will be in the area on Sunday December 9, playing at morning service in St Margaret’s Church, Forfar, at 11am, before an afternoon performance in the atmospheric setting of Glamis Castle at 2pm.
They will then play at a carol concert in Lowson Memorial Church, Forfar, at 6.30pm.
All proceeds of the band’s visit will go to the Inspiration Orchestra which is made up of youngsters with various disabilities.
