On January 12, 1920, Florence Nightingal­e Shore - a nurse and god-daughter of Florence Nightingal­e - is found brutally beaten on a train, dying four days later due to the extent of her injuries. Driven to distractio­n by the lack of Jason Manford hosts a Christmas special of the show where parents guess what their children will do in a variety of entertaini­ng situations, which features a cast of twins. The youngsters are filmed in a school specially rigged with hidden cameras. In the mid-1980s Bros were one of the biggest bands in the world. Their journey takes them to the desert of Jordan, where they get a taste of nomadic Bedouin life. Noel Fielding, Sandi Toksvig, Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood welcome back four past contestant­s to compete once more, with Benjamina Ebuehi, Rob Billington, Rav Bansal and Sandy Docherty taking on a series of Winter Wonderland­themed challenges in a bid to win the Star Baker title.
