Contactless card payments are rolled out to Dundee car parks

Contactless card payments are now available at all Dundee City Council run car parks.

The option has been included at pay machines at all on-street, off-street and multi-storey car parks following an upgrade.

SNP councillor Mark Flynn, depute convener of the council’s city development committee, said: “It is important to residents and visitors to the city that we offer them the most convenient ways of paying for parking, including cash-free options.

“This programme is the first time we have offered the choice of contactless.

“I am sure it will prove a popular way of paying.”

Cash and phone payments are still available.
