Cornwall: This Fishing Life

(BBC2, 8pm-9pm)

The largest boats in the fishing fleet head out to sea in autumn, including giant netters and trawlers up to 100 feet long capable of fishing hundreds of miles from shore. On one boat, an engineer and deckhand with 10 years of service behind him is training to become a captain, under the watchful eye of his veteran skipper.
