Mcglynn hoping to bolster links with Fulham
John Mcglynn is hopeful the sale of Kieron Bowie to Fulham could spark a fruitful relationship that lands Raith Rovers loan players from the London club.
Bowie will join the English Championship side in the summer after the clubs agreed a £150,000 deal that allows the 17-year-old to see out the season at Stark’s Park.
Mcglynn has revealed he expects Fulham to closely monitor Bowie’s progress in the coming months and has vowed to work closely with the Craven Cottage coaching staff to ensure the striker continues his speedy development.
And the Rovers boss believes the Kirkcaldy club can show they would be the ideal home for some of The Whites’ up-andcoming talents in the future.
He said: “This connection could help us both in the future.
“They’re going to keep tabs on Kieron playing here, they’re going to come up and watch his games, and potentially watch him training as well.
“And perhaps they’ll give us some ideas on what they would like us to work on with him as well. We’re obviously hoping there can be a connection between Raith Rovers Football Club and Fulham Football Club for the future.
“Maybe we’ll get loan players and, who knows, help each other in years to come.”
