Correction

A story in yesterday’s Courier about the death of highly respected Kirkcaldy Victoria Hospital clinical nurse manager Esther Pow gave incorrect details for her funeral.

Her family have asked us to clarify that because of the continuing restrictions there will be a private service on Monday August 24.

Any friends and colleagues wishing to pay their respects may do so in Victoria Hospital grounds at 11.30am before the cortege travels on to the crematorium for the service.

The story also incorrectly referred to her having a son instead of a daughter.

We would like to apologise to the family, friends and colleagues for the distress this has caused at this time.
