History comes to life through scans
The Natural History Museum has revealed scans of dinosaur and bird skulls. The study of more than 390 birds and dinosaurs includes 3D data from Dippy the Diplodocus and Sophie the Stegosaurus. Researchers say birds’ skulls may be more limited in their ability to adapt than their dinosaur cousins due to the evolution of a big brain.
