Motorcyclist dies in road crash tragedy
Aman has died following a crash on the border of Fife and Kinross-shire The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene on the A911 between Leslie and Scotswell on Thursday night.
The road was closed for six hours following the crash, which happened at around 8.50pm.
No other vehicles were involved.
Emergency services attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Inquiries into the crash are ongoing.
Police urged any witnesses to come forward by calling 101.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Officers are investigating following a fatal one-vehicle crash involving a motorcyclist, which happened on the A911 between Leslie and Scotlandwell at around 8.50pm on Thursday July 15 2021.
“Emergency services attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The road was closed for approximately six hours and inquiries remain ongoing.
“Anyone who witnessed the crash and has not yet spoken to officers should contact Police Scotland on 101 and quote incident number 3641 of July 15.”

Fife motorists faced delays on the A92 at Redhouse roundabout near Kirkcaldy after a collision involving a car and a lorry.
The police were called to the scene shortly before midday following reports of a collision.
Locals reported delays after the incident, with traffic still running slowly more than an hour later.
There were no serious injuries reported as a result of the crash, officers confirmed.
One witness said the car was left facing the wrong way.
Sarah Glover said: “The driver was fine – he was getting details from the lorry driver.
“They both seemed in good spirits.”
A police spokesman said “Around 11.50am on Friday July 16, officers were called to the Redhouse roundabout, Kirkcaldy, following a report of a crash involving a car and a lorry.
“There were no reports of any serious injuries.”
