Russian president is just like Hitler

Sir, – Like many, I’ve been watching the nightmare triggered by Russian leader Vladmir Putin as it unfolds in Ukraine.

I get the impression this man Putin will not rest until all the countries that once belonged to ‘Eastern’ Europe will be brought back under a communistic regime.

The last months are an exact copy of the years 1933-1940, where Hitler started to gear up the German army.

Like Putin has done in latter years.

Where all the other countries were scaling down their military powers due to costs, like all the European countries now.

Hitler, lying and denying to all the European heads of state, like Putin has been lying and denying now.

Invading several countries, including my country of birth (the Netherlands) with fake reasons.

Bringing millions of deaths, destruction, torture and trauma, and suppressing freedom of speech.

I remember the stories from my parents, I have seen the physical scars from my father sustained in a concentration camp, I have lived with their mental issues caused by the trauma of war.

Exactly like Putin is inflicting now on the people of Ukraine.

The whole world, again, believing the lies of a man that

cannot be trusted and is as bloodthirsty and insane as Hitler was.

My heart bleeds for all the people that will suffer due to the actions from this maniac.

I can only hope and pray the people from Russia, as well as the army leaders there, will have the courage to stand up and get this despot removed from the Kremlin and locked up behind bars, as he is endangering worldwide peace and stability.
