Picture of the day

A Bonhams employee displays a photograph by Iain Macmillan, one from a series of five outtakes from the Beatles’ Abbey Road Sessions, at Bonhams auction house in London. Macmillan, born in 1938, was educated at Dundee High School and latterly lived in Carnoustie until his death in 2006. His pictures are a selection up for auction in the Rock, Pop and Film sale tomorrow.
