Dillon hits milestone

Montrose player-coach Sean Dillon has become the fifth member of the squad to reach the 200-appearance milestone for the Gable Endies.

The 39-year-old continues to regularly deliver strength and command at the heart of Stewart Petrie’s defensive unit.

He joined Montrose in 2017 after 10 seasons with Dundee United.

Dillon joins Terry Masson, Paul Watson, Graham Webster and Andrew Steeves in the 200 club.

Chief executive Peter Stuart said: “Having so many long-serving players at the club has brought us real stability.”
