Repair works to close M90 lane at Friarton

-

One lane of the M90 will be closed at the Friarton Bridge, on the edge of Perth, for emergency repairs.

The work will be carried out next month and requires a northbound lane closure.

The lane will be shut on December 5 between 9.30am and 3.30pm and for overnight works from Tuesday December 6, lasting three nights.

Overnight closures will be in place between 7.30pm and 5.30am.

Amey, carrying out the work on behalf of Transport Scotland, says the repairs are necessary to repair a leaking pipe which is causing a risk to the railway track between Perth and Dundee.

All entry and exit slips near to the bridge will remain open.
