Manford the man who will make Perth laugh

-

In these trying times, we may as well laugh, and Jason Manford is coming to Perth to help give the chuckle muscle a bit of a work out.

The popular TV host, West End star and longtime standup is touring our parts with Like Me, his latest laugh-along offering after the popular Muddle Class.

Born to a family of singers and musicians in Salford, Jason worked his way to the big time in showbiz, taking in TV, film and stage.

He famously got his comedy break when he was 17, collecting glasses in a pub, and was asked to stand in when a performer didn’t turn up.

A Perrier nominee at the Fringe, he cites Billy Connolly as one of his comedy influences.

The self-deprecating father of six promises more of the witty, likeable observational comedy he’s earned his fans for and – perhaps an added audience bonus – apparently you’ll burn off 300 calories laughing.
